this morning #374.

this morning, out amongst the green amongst the grey, they walked along with way too much confidence for someone who was about to make one of the biggest mistakes of their life. things had been going pretty damn well ever since they started getting out more. this morn began as an effort to avoid daytime apartment drama while beating the searing midday heat with a leisurely early morning stroll through the park. it ended with the decision to take a left turn at a fork in the path, leading them into a wooded area & right into the path of a man who was apparently having a “bad day” & decided they were as good of a target as any.
