this morning #352.

this morning, it was a constant cycle of puff puff puff & stub stub stub as she did her part to defy the WHO’s mandate-on-high. who was the WHO to tell her what to do? “world no tobacco day?” screw that. it was her body. it was her choice what she brung to her lungs & she was not about to listen to advice from some random chinese doctor who no doubt smoked fat cigars in urban basements when he wasn’t coming up with invasive health initiatives for her to adhere to. sixty years in, other than an occasional cough, she was doing just fine thank you very much. if the cigarettes caught up to her now, she’d fall way short of the average american lifespan. still, she’d die with nary a regret.
