this morning #257.
this morning, quiet time had gone right off the rails and he was off & running around headbanging & singing along to “for whom the bell tolls” at the top of his lungs. it was mostly the “time marches on” part accompanied by a whole lot of hair-whipping. his parents were huge metallica fans, so they let it slide for the duration of the song, much in the way that they had let him grow his hair long. if he wanted to be an 80’s-style metalhead in a decade where only half of metallica still had long hair, so be it. when he started to chant “hail, satan” & display the sign of the horns, that’s where they had to draw the line. until he was old enough to know who satan was, he could not evoke his name.
