this morning, i’d like to thank you for being so darn understanding about my mini-freakout yesterday. based on your response, it doesn’t seem like you’re too worried about the thought of things being weird between us when i return from this job. you’re 100% right. while it won’t necessarily be weird, we were never going back to our lives from before i left anyhow. it’s totally ok. that’s just how life works. distance or not, time’s passed. things should be different. if they’re not, we should check to make sure that the world’s still spinning. thanks for your words of reassurance. like i said, i’m not expecting things to go sideways but, if they do, you’ve given me faith that our love will be enough to get us through.
