this morning #498.

this morning, he had officially aged out of the key demographic for his music. as far as he was concerned, it was just a matter of time before he’d find himself writing lyrics about stopping his hair from falling out. popping bottles would end up on the back burner. it didn’t mean that he couldn’t create a memeable dance though. he just couldn’t come off as old in doing so. 35! OOH WEE! how could something so familiar be so strange? he’d started off his life as “aubrey.” in his mid-to-late teens to early twenties, he embodied “jimmy.” now he shared names with a snack food brand. at this point, there was no chance of going back to being “aubrey.”
