this morning #823.

this morning, our boss was clearly projecting all of his personal biases about this project & society in general onto all of us. we were a rather diverse assemblage of workers who’d been tasked by corporate with assembling a plan to foster diversity. this embittered white man at the helm was already raising a fuss over having to deal with & spearhead all these sudden shifts in workplace culture. not a drop of white guilt in him. i would’ve taken offense at his actions if they weren’t so friggin’ comical. dude was all worked up over having his stature as head of a dollar store threatened. i couldn’t blame him. once corporate put our plan into place, his entire stand-up routine would be totally off limits.
