this morning #822.
this morning, i was beginning to accept that centuries of tradition had fully transitioned into a noose around our necks. at this point in time, all it’d take was for some single sour soul to pass by & quickly kick the chair right out from underneath us. i’ve always lived for tradition, so i was in absolutely no position to point fingers. in this case though, lots of folks had been harmed. it was time to evolve as a species, leave all the pomp & circumstance of the past behind. if we did, maybe we’d find that focusing on our present would lead to a healthier future. if we could achieve that, one day we might truly be free…& with that thought top of mind, i looked down at the dump i’d just taken & flushed it away.
