this morning #797.

this morning, three hours into piloting a subaru packed up tight with my wife & backpacks & tents & two teenagers, i was already feeling spent. we’d rented a family camping plot for the weekend, one last getaway before the school year. if past years were any indication, this was not going to be a vacation at all. so far this morn, my son had already called my daughter “loose” in response to her dubbing him a “stone cold virgin.” they were probably both right but it was far too early in the trip for topics such as this. it killed me to think that my little girl was having more sex than my wife & i. at least my boy likely had no idea what he was missing.
