this morning #731.
this morning, a fully fresh perspective dawned upon me. up until this moment right here, as i entered my third year, i hadn’t even taken into account that the third-person accounts i was creating were creating an unnecessary distance between myself & my characters, between the characters & the reader. the whole construct was now up for debate. instead of he/she/they, from this point forward I would be the character. I would change things up. bring things into first-person perspective. going forward, there would be no more lording over. if i truly wanted to get inside the minds of others & relate to others, i’d have to start showing the world directly through their eyes.
