this morning #668.

this morning, down to the diner she went, hellbent on proving that she was worthy of mercy, even after everything she’d done to her former coworkers. she had her petition perfectly planned out. sure, parts of her plea would potentially come across as pathetic but that was a risk she was willing to take. she needed them more than they needed her, so it was going to be an uphill battle. in retrospect, she should’ve considered that prior to letting her online gossip blossom into real world problems but, at the time, she wasn’t in the best place. that was going to be the crux of her argument. while she knew it wasn’t a great excuse, she hoped it’d at least put her on the path to healing.
