this morning, if anyone found out about what had happened to her last night, she would absolutely DIE. putting herself out there had not gone as planned. in fact, it had gone so poorly that the mere thought of walking the halls at school today had developed into a full-blown panic attack. she’d blown it. blown her best friendship to bits when she went for a kiss, convinced it was what they both wanted. the response she got was not ideal. the feeling was not mutual. all she could do was fight through the anxiety with dark lipstick & an inappropriate outfit. if word had already spread about her misstep, she was determined to give the school something much more scandalous to discuss.
