this morning #618.

this morning, minimalism was having a moment in her apartment, as she’d recently decided that all this accumulation was interfering with her sense of serenity. today she would tackle the walk-in closet, filled floor-to-ceiling with outfits & footwear & random junk, much of which hadn’t been outside of its confines for quite some time. it was clutter from another life. some other human’s stuff from some other place in time. with the clothes. she’d take one last trip down memory lane with each item before tossing it in bags to bring to the thrift store. it was time to let these items become a part of someone else’s story. they no longer needed to be a part of hers.
