this morning, her poor performance at last night’s company holiday party had left her hollow. luckily, she didn’t have to return to the office until after the new year, so she had a few days to recover & formulate a valid excuse for her behavior. darn open bars & appletinis. by her third drink, she & “gay mark from marketing” had started chatting with a random bar bro. mark then started her down the path to infamy by twisting the topic & turning their talk into a game of truth or dare. random bar bro was game & he was kind of cute, so she went along. appletini fog. mark’s dare easily evolved into a makeout session. she didn’t know it yet but her coworkers were already calling her “hot lips.”
