this morning #530.
this morning, the prevailing vibe around her home was one of intense ungratefulness & utter disregard for all that they had. her kids sat in the front room in front of a tv that was bigger than they were. severely spoiled. granted, it was mostly her fault that they took everything for granted, a symptom of her inability to say “no.” now it was her job to come up with a cure for her children’s crassness. the solution came quickly. today, she’d teach them about “feeding the hungry.” before sitting down for their meal, they’d go down to the church hall & watch the folks going in to enjoy a meal they couldn’t afford otherwise. they wouldn’t go inside to help though. the parking lot was close enough.
