this morning, being the man of the house brought out a side of him that his younger siblings didn’t appreciate one bit. he was just trying to inject an air of maturity into their monday morning meal but they didn’t feel the need to listen to him. the way he saw it, he had five & seven more years of experience, respectively. therefore, he knew the score when it came to things like table manners. elbows off the table. don’t talk with your mouth full. please. thank you. their dad had been MIA lately, so he’d taken it upon himself to change their environment & teach them a thing or two about how the other half lived. someday, it might pay off but, for now, they just couldn’t care what he had to say.
