this morning #436.

this morning, she got so hung up on all the myriad minutiae that she’d failed to recognize the full picture. strictly speaking, there were multiple pictures before her, each representing something drastically different. it was time to zoom out & take it all in or at least acknowledge that she had options. in one scenario, she was a doting wife & mother, keeping the family afloat. in another, she gave 100% to her career, keeping herself afloat. in the third, her creative instincts were able to rise to the surface. embracing pieces of each plotline seemed totally impossible, especially if she kept focusing on the dumb details. nothing would change until she started to believe “if beyoncé can do it all, so can i.”
