this morning #397.
this morning, speaking of saving souls, she was expending too much energy thinking about the path her parents were going down. in the time since they’d both retired, they’d been on countless vacations with other retirees. with each trip, she’d become increasingly convinced that they’d become swingers. growing up, her mom’s constant cries of “oh, harold” came with an air of dejection. now those words came with a flirty “you’re so bad” inflection. while she was happy that they were happy, adultery was still a sin. she’d been meaning to try intervening but her recent lack of action in the sack made her feel she was giving in to envy. while it wasn’t one of god’s sins, it was still deadly.
