this morning #395.

this morning, the carpet definitely didn’t match the drapes. she simply couldn’t believe that she’d never noticed it. in fact, now that she was giving her home a good once over, all sorts of shortcomings started bubbling up to the surface. life had long languished & she needed to shake things up. it was high time for a TOTAL HOME MAKEOVER! her husband’s framed pink floyd poster in their bedroom would be the first thing to go though she knew that it wouldn’t go quietly. she was clearly drunk when she ordered their hideous retro formica dining room table. the bathroom decor now evoked memories of her parents’ house. it all disgusted her. if she was to ever be comfortable again, it all had to go.
