this morning #356.
this morning, proximity pulled her into a whirlpool of emotional sludge, where everything within a ten-foot radius would be harshly judged. in this overall context of her non-familial relationships, it was bound to happen eventually. these new friends of hers were a powder keg & though she wasn’t a lit match, she wasn’t a bucket of water either. in the short time since she’d moved to the city & befriended this close-knit group of women, she’d witnessed a level of backstabbing that’d make brutus blush. now she’d committed a faux pas of her own & it had all come to a head. she’d soon have to search for a new group of friends.
