this morning #347.
this morning, thirty plus years in, she was finally considering that it may be time to finally let everybody in on her secret. society seemed like it was ready for a revelation. “the truth will set you free.” where was that from? MLK? the bible? john lennon? she’d look it up later. back in her mom’s day, all there was to worry about was being outed by national enquirer. those days were done dead & long gone. these days, gossip flowed forth from every orifice. all hail the information age! it was an inevitability. eventually people would learn what she’d done. it was time to take control of the narrative before it took control of her. it was time to face the music, even if it lacked the necessary harmony.
