this morning #344.

this morning, a creation myth had led him to believe that somebody else would be making today’s donuts. when he discovered that this was not the case, that he was the only employee here, the blame game came & brought a foul mood along with it. his co-workers were constantly letting him down in new & exciting ways, constantly taking advantage of his stellar work ethic. as he fed the morning’s batches into the air fryer, he got into his groove though, moving from mocking “time to make the donuts” sneers to motivational football cheers. by the time anyone else showed up, the initial work had been done. now he’d just have to work on not holding it over everyone else’s heads.
