this morning, if he’d told somebody he was sixty, they would’ve called him a liar. it was ok though. he knew that it was the truth. shit. he even sang about it back in the day. with his silver hair, there were signs of his aging but sixty? GTFO. OG was looking relatively good for his age, given all the shit he’d gotten into back in the 80’s & 90’s. he was now officially in his sixth decade & it was clear that he had already lived a full life. it was clear from his fully formed politics & activism. it was clear from his muscles & many tattoos. what wasn’t so clear was if he was happy. to outsiders, he had always appeared overly intense about everything. chances are, he wasn’t all that damaged after all.
