this morning, they’d tried to make him out to be some kind of monster. rumors run rampant. acted like he was a child with no control over his actions. rather than asking him if he’d like a chance to explain himself, he now found himself on the receiving end of threats. the latest came today in the form of a flyer on the windshield of his car. the weirdest one so far. in big, bold font across the top was a single word—YOU. below it was an image of hitler. not actually hitler though. an image of charlie chaplin from his film the great dictator. the only other items on the flyer were a thirty-digit string of numbers & a QR code that he was definitely not going to scan. assumed it was a way for whoever left the “threat” to track him. unaware that they’d already been doing so for days now.
