this morning, he hid in the bushes on the side of the driveway while the family packed up the car. watched as they filled up the trunk with far more junk than they’d need for a week’s vacation. incredible. must be nice to have everything your greedy little heart desires. the mother stood by waiting for the chaos to resolve itself. it did but only once the dad shouted orders at the two boys. they hustled into the backseat & a minute later, the car drove off. he stayed in his hiding spot for long enough to be sure that they weren’t going to return. made his way out back & hopped the fence. amazing. the pool was HUGE. a poolside bar?!!! he couldn’t believe his eyes. these jerks must be loaded. by the time he dove into the water, he‘d convinced himself that it was ok for him to be here.
