this morning, a good percentage of the people she passed on the street wondered why she was dressing so fancy so early in the day. ready for a night out on the town. short black dress. heels in hand. a hairstyle holding on for dear life as she made her way back home after quite the eventful night. early last evening, when she & a few friends were getting ready to go out dancing, she didn’t intend to end up anywhere other than in her own bed. she kept the option open though & that’s just where the night ending up taking her. no regrets, especially not because some random strangers saw her attire & rushed to judgment about who she truly was. right now, she was on top of the world. they had no clue.
