this morning #2156.
this morning, she was pretty much fed up. the last thing that she needed was another cheerleader. if she was making horrible choices, somebody needed to say something STAT. her colleagues’ repetitive “rah rah rahs” were coming off as a pathetic barrage of “blah blah blahs.” everyone’s suddenly become afraid of upsetting her. fearful of poking a hole in the echo chamber they’d recently erected for her in honor of her promotion. with how things have been around the office, she could suggest making knives for babies & they’d probably respond with an “OH WOW. that idea sounds AMAZING.” bunch of yes men. at monday’s meeting, she’d be up front. blunt. enough with the obedient agreement.
