this morning #2154.

this morning, once his morning run was done, he decided to cool down with a leisurely walk through the weekday streets of his city. the weather was relatively nice & he didn’t have to be at work until later tonight so, for the next few hours, he just wandered around. popped in & out of random shops. bought a fresh baguette & sat on a bench in the park tearing off pieces. one for him. one for the birds. petted multiple dogs. strolled along the river listening to its ripple. took in as much of the city as he could. the good. the bad. the sunny. the sad. wondered why he didn’t do this sort of thing all the time. made a promise to himself to do more exploring going forward. spring had officially sprung.
