this morning #2059.

this morning, when i turned into the church parking lot & saw that there wasn’t a single car parked there yet, i didn’t even stop. kept driving. right on out of the lot & down the street to the gardens to kill a bit of time. no way was i going to be the first person in the building. the rules: first one there opens the space. sets up tables & chairs. brews coffee. nah. far too much responsibility for me. too much for today, at least. instead, for the next twenty minutes, i sat outside the gardens in my car. had a smoke & watched silly videos on my phone. once i was certain that enough time had passed, i headed back. this time, there were four cars in the lot. cool. if they still need help by the time i get inside, i’ll totally oblige.
