this morning, all the petty little games had finally come to an end. she took a full breath & looked at what was now laid about before her. at first glance, it appeared to be a fresh start, which was welcome news because things just couldn’t keep going on like they’d been. for most folks, her circumstances wouldn’t have been such a big deal but she’d always preferred to bring out the drama in the mundane. now, as she finally grasped why she had ended up here, she played with the idea that there was finally nothing to worry about. it was a shame that it took a fake pregnancy, a run-in with a relative & a full confession to complete her conversion but now she could live in the light.
