this morning #2047.
this morning, it took a couple minutes for him to come to. once he did, he put on pants, left his room & wandered throughout the house. found that he was all alone. peeked out through the blinds. no cars in the driveway. they’d definitely left him behind. cold-blooded but understandable given how he’d acted last night. too much tequila, he supposed. should’ve cut himself off before he started offering up all those “hard truths” about his roommates. honestly, they weren’t bothered by his honesty. their dismay came from the way that he went about dispensing his wisdom. atypical anger aimed like arrows. by not waking him, they made the right choice. this morning, just below the surface, that same anger lingered.
