this morning, smothered in snuggles & unable to do a thing about it, she got the feeling that she might be in trouble. in the short time that they’d been dating, he’d become gradually clingy. always finding more & more reasons to lay his hands on her. most of the time, she didn’t mind but this instance felt different. “my parents are out of town,” he’d said. convinced her to spend the night. he knew her rules but didn’t let that stop him from trying to do what a boy his age is wont to do. instead of just giving in, for the entire night she managed to walk the line. now, in the early hours of the morning after, he was right back at it. in a burst of energy, she tossed him off of her. stood up. “excuse me.” fled to the bathroom to think.
