this morning #1924.
this morning, if he’d been keeping count, he would’ve taken note of the fact that he was now in the midst of his ninth life. that’s right. he’d almost died eight whole times. lost count around life #5. on seven of those eight occasions, he’d been pushing the limits of acceptable human behavior. the last one was just a tragic accident. totally out of his control. maybe if he’d known that he was now on life #9, he’d have thought twice about changing his ways. heeded the cat-based idiom. instead, he had a brief cool down period after this latest mishap & now he was back. full steam ahead. just like he always said. “gotta live life to the fullest, man.” now, if lives even go that high, he’s on a collision course with life #10.
