this morning #1861.

this morning, somebody suddenly shoved him from behind & he tumbled down to the ground. stuck his arms out & half-braced before landing on the side of his face. by the time he composed himself & turned over, all he saw far off in the distance was the backside of a large man sprinting away. no one else around. he shouted out for the stranger to stop but of course he did not. then the pulsing began. radiated out from the center of his blood-covered face to the whole of his head, forcing him to sink to his knees. he screamed out as the pain finally reared its head. unsure of what else to do, he lied down on his side. decided it was fine if he took a nap right there. awoke to the sound of another stranger a half hour later.
