this morning #1856.

this morning, he rounded up the most pivotal parts of his past. headed to the wall & tossed them over it. into the future that he’d heard was waiting on the other side. once he’d tossed them all over, it hit him. he’d made a grave mistake. hadn’t thought about how he’d get onto to the other side to reclaim his past. climbing was out of the question so he’d have to walk the length of the fence until he found an opening. double back to where the vital items from his past had landed. maybe he’d find a lock he could pick. perhaps a loose slat. if not, he’d have to keep going until he came to an open gate. he looked left. glanced right. both seemed the same so he flipped a coin. crossed his heart & went left. hoped for the best.
