this morning #1807.
this morning, to celebrate you & i reuniting one week from today, i wrote you a new love poem. i believe this is poem number three for me to your seventy or so. i guess we’re almost even! hope you like it: parting is such sweet sorrow. in that saying, the reuniting is implied. absence makes the heart grow fonder. in that one, the void is the point but only in relation to the reunion. in our time apart, the fondness in my heart has flowered & is now bright, blooming roses. by any other name, those roses would smell exactly the same. the root of their beauty’s inside you & i. it stems from the love that we share. when we’re back together, they’ll smell just the same but now they’ll be beyond compare.
