this morning #1799.

this morning, with only two weeks left until our research project ends, we set aside some time to start the process of packing. came across a few things that made me think back to when we first arrived here. at the time, i had a few half-baked theories about what we might find but, as is often the case when any new job’s coming to an end, i look back & know that i was mostly clueless about what lie ahead. how could we have guessed that, at one of the sites, we’d find traces of agrochemicals hundreds of miles from any farm? not entirely harmful at the levels we found but we won’t have enough time to fully measure the effects. see how much it’s spread. a lot of what we detected will just have to stay half-baked.

go back to the beginning.
