this morning #1445.

this morning, i learned the hard way that the milk had spoiled. went to pour a splash into my tea & audibly gasped as a solid-sized chunk of curdle spilled out of the jug & into my cup. i almost threw up. hurried to the sink & tried to wash the disaster down the drain as fast as i could. let the water run super hot for as long as i thought necessary to push the spoil as far away as possible. bury the smell. i banish thee to hell, perished perishable! once i was sure that the gelatinous mass of milk was gone, i put another kettle on. checked the fridge. every item inside was room temperature. just great. something must’ve busted while i was away. i slammed the door. walked away. left it for later in the day.
