this morning #1437.
this morning, he’d actually remembered. i’ll be damned. he recalled all that i’d basically begged him to do. frankly, i’m shocked. it’s never been in his nature to do what’s been asked of him. he’s more of a “lay off & let me do my own thing” sort of guy. instead of doing what he usually chooses to do, he got up early & started organizing the garage. when i awoke & found that he wasn’t there next to me, i went out to check on him. he’d already filled up a few plastic bins. good for him. at first, he was so caught up in the contents of this one box that he didn’t see me standing there. as soon as he did, he hurriedly shut the flaps. what was he trying to hide inside? i had to ask. he warned me. “never you mind.”
