this morning #143.

this morning, the election day chaos had officially begun & she was rather relaxed. it helped that, after years upon years of watching her adopted country abandon all hope & burn itself to the ground, her heart just wasn’t in it any more. que sera, sera. the future’s not ours to see. anything could happen. it was out of her control. her role was to be thankful for her husband & her green card & all they brought her. be grateful that the president didn’t have it out for brits. yet. maybe one day very soon he wouldn’t even be a concern. the americans would finally come to their senses & everyone could finally exhale. until then, she would keep calm. she would carry on.
