this morning #1395.
this morning, we tossed our cells into a trash bin so they couldn’t track us & hopped on the first train out of town. headed south without telling a single soul that we were leaving. we made a bet the second that we settled into our seats. how long would it take before they realized that we were gone? i guessed a day. she thought that our absence would be noted within a couple hours. i doubted that very much. the staff at the home is stretched thin. i’ve had days where i don’t go down to the dining room for a single meal & no one bothers to stop by to check on me. this morning, we just walked out a side door that’s been busted for months. we’ll already be in memphis by the time they start looking.
