this morning, i grabbed a pen & drew a 3x3 grid on a sheet of paper. at the top, i labeled the columns. POSITIVE. NEUTRAL. NEGATIVE. down the left-hand side, i wrote my three suitors’ names. CARLOS. MITCHY MITCH. my talented musician (positive) who’s known for his hair (neutral) but also for his breakdowns (negative). are either of you any better than THE SWEDE? SVEN. such a stunning specimen of a man (positive) with his neutral stance (neutral) that leads to him not standing up for me (negative). ugh. this grid’s lame. these men are basically all the same.
