this morning #1386.

this morning, as i aimlessly made my way through midtown, a gaggle of clearly midwestern tourists stopped me to ask if i knew how to get to the gun show. at first, i didn’t answer. i half-expected the one who’d asked me to follow up by flexing his biceps & yelling “THE GUN SHOW’S RIGHT HERE, BRO!” he didn’t though. these dudes were 100% sincere. the gun show’s in town. this i did not know. i’m not sure why they thought i was the one to ask though. they’d looked past all the likely gun owners around us & asked me, a long-haired dude with a smiley face t-shirt. i guess to them, my attire doesn’t matter. as far as they’re concerned, everyone in the big city is packing.
