this morning, i salute you, human race. outstanding. once again, in the face of adversity, you did nothing and, as a result, made things twenty times worse. pure inertia. bravo. it was pretty clear what you had to do. you’ve known for a while but instead of uniting & reacting accordingly, you picked sides & then turned on one another. afraid of change, you chose mutually assured destruction. took the middle ground & ground it down into the dirt. dug deep trenches. built up barriers. refused to run. got a gun. spilled enough blood to stain the rising seas. stared straight ahead, doubly determined to defend what’s yours. left the real repercussions for some other fool to deal with. some other fool like me.
