this morning #1270.
this morning, in spite of everything she’d done, i’d decided it was time to give her yet another chance. i had to assume she’d do the same for me if i was in her shoes. no doubt. hypothetically speaking. i’d never do what she did. we weren’t brought up that way. first thing after i got up, i got to work tidying up the house. vacuumed. dusted. straightened up. hid the valuables in anticipation of her arrival. trust me. she can’t be trusted. not yet. we’ll get there. baby steps, starting with me letting her back into my home. as it is, the invite wasn’t easy. last time she came by, she stole a whole bucket of rock shrimp from our freezer. look. she’s my sis. i’ll help her when i can. my family’s not made of shrimp though.
