this morning #1263.

this morning, i received your email re: tomorrow’s planning meeting. i don’t know where to begin. my gut tells me that you may have sent it to me in error. i have to say. i’m quite surprised by the phrase you used to describe my meeting agenda. “authoritarian-leaning.” i mean, i get that you feel like you don’t have much say in the way that i run things. being the boss means that i get to set the agenda though. it’s my job. it doesn’t make me a tyrant. it doesn’t even make me tyrant-adjacent. nevertheless, i’m willing to accept your grievances. i refuse to accept your insubordination though. am i not fair? i think i’m fair. in the spirit of fairness, please stop by my office at 10am to discuss just how fair i am.
