this morning #1192.

this morning, i hopped on a greyhound bus toward albany. just me & a bunch of strangers with an array of agendas. an hour into the trip, a friend i hadn’t heard from in a while sent me a message, asked how i was doing. hugs emoji. i shared that i was hanging in there, that i was currently in transit. bus emoji. they asked where i was going & before i had a chance to respond, they sent another message apologizing for being so nosy. nose emoji. i didn’t take their question that way. in fact, i sort of wish that more folks would ask me where i was headed. nobody cares where i go these days. i replied. “albany bound.” hospital emoji. i waited quite a while for a reply. then it came. “albany, eh?” poop emoji.
