this morning #1164.

this morning, we opted for popsicles for breakfast. she says that, for my good behavior & her hard work, we definitely deserve them. cherry for me. orange for her. if she says we can have another, mine’ll be lime. i bet she grabs another orange one. she loves that flavor way more than the others. i took a lick. bit a bit off the top. this right here is a sure sign of summer. the normal rules do not apply. last week i got to swim in my clothes. we were walking through the woods & came across a pond. her face lit up. she called out “c’mon.” led me down to the water. i was scared about getting in so she ran in first. fully clothed. splashed around. it’s summer. i joined her. i couldn’t turn that opportunity down.
