this morning #106.

this morning, it wasn’t like she had any valid reason to cry. she did anyway. with the rain falling lightly outside her window, it seemed appropriate. over the past few days, an unexpected wash of loneliness had come over her. it made little sense given the plentiful friends & family she surrounded herself with. still, the feeling was there, so she decided to meditate her way through it. while deep breaths circled through her, polaroids of parties & gatherings flashed by, libations & laughing & loud conversing. moments with melancholic alcoholics. she made peace with the fact that their existence fed her loneliness. with this, her head became clear. she pushed them all to the rear.
