this morning #1053.

this morning, there was an unsettling amount of aphids in the atrium. i’ve never seen anything like it. the issue literally emerged overnight. no doubt about it. if we want to salvage our plants, we’re going to have to call in professionals. this problem is WAY above my pay grade. “solve severely severe infestation near biblical in scope” is nowhere in my job description. still, since i was first to arrive at work today, the one who was greeted by bunches & bunches of the lil’ buggers, i was de facto in charge. lucky me. i found an exterminator on yelp & went to make a call when they began to stir & emit some sort of screechy sound. OH HELL NO. i took my call outside & shut the door tight behind me.
