this morning, a higher power informed him that his god-given duty would now be to devote his life to those less fortunate than he. from the comfort of his plush king bed, he opened up his laptop & googled “poor person charities.” he found an npr story about a charity that sent no strings attached money directly to the cell phones of poor people in kenya. without knowing exactly what those people were going to do with his money, that cause was out of the question. there sure were a lot of photos of starving africans on these charity websites. had USA for africa had no effect at all? in the end, he went with an organization that gave people goats and, for a brief moment, believed he was the Greatest of All Time.
